Ok, let me set this straight now. Herbalife is a legit business opportunity. Believe it or not, there are not many Network Marketing frauds out there. I am so tired of reading everywhere on the internet and forums about scams.

You have to know something; people that say a particular Network Marketing business is a rip-off are frequently the folks that I named “Tired Kickers”. The same people are not willing to do whatsoever it requires to be profitable in the MLM Company. These are the people that somehow think that their upline is expected to do the entire job for them. These are the people that let life get in the way of their success. These are the people that are not consistent as much as necessary in other be triumphant in the MLM business.

I do not distribute for Herbalife. So I definitely do not have any gain by saying they are a legit company. Before you start taking to heart all the stories and forums you read online, you have to first look at how long Herbalife has been in business. This company got in business in 1980 and has been on the rise since then. I personally do not know of any MLM scam that will last that long.

This company is listed on the NY stock exchange, and is part of Direct Selling Associations around the world. Herbalife has around 1.9 million associates around the world. They are doing business in 70 countries the last I checked. They sold $3.8B worth of volume in 2008. This company paid compensations worth of $2.4B to their representatives in 2007. This does not happen frequently in other MLM Companies.

So why are they calling Herbalife a scam? These are folks that were in no way taught the most critical skill that you must have in order to be doing well in Herbalife or other MLM company. This skill is marketing. We MLM professionals forget that we are marketers. Those that know that they have to market are marketing the wrong thing. I will simplify this as best as I can. You have to market yourself. This company is doing a great job of marketing themselves already. THIS IS YOUR BUSINESS. PEOPLE WILL DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE. Folks that go over the internet saying that Herbalife is a scam are the people that refuse to understand this basic notion. These same folks will call all other MLM companies a scam.

The Founder of this company is noted for his success.

Furthermore, If a company has great leadership and great products, but they are not training their distributors properly, how does that benefit you? You need to take into consideration the training system of this company before you decide to join them. They use a system called Vemma Builder. Simply taking the Old school methods and practicing it online will not make a difference. Their representatives need to be better trained.

Their reps seems to be confusing sending piquing videos to my Facebook inbox as the same thing as using the internet to build your business. They are not using the internet correctly. You need prospects in this company or any network marketing company to talk to if you want to make money.
